One of the reasons people often feel vulnerable about their relationship is because they don't always know just where they stand with a person they are dating. There is a certain amount of uncertainty inherent in dating, but after you've been going out for a while, especially if you've been sleeping together, you want to know the score. Ask yourself the following questions about the behaviour of your partner
Do you date on weekends?
If your partner does not work on weekends, yet has never asked you out on the weekend, there is a chance that he/she is probably taking others. Your partner may have a steady person he/she sees regularly. Until you've been dating on the weekends, it’s not wise to assume that your partner is available for relationship. Proceed with caution and keep your options open.
How often does your partner ask you out?

Do you spend holidays together?
If you've been dating for a few months or more, and consider your relationship a serious one, you should be spending your holidays and other special occasions such as your birthdays together. Beware of a partner who doesn't spend family holidays with you because he/she is reluctant to introduce you to his/her family. Don't push it at first, but after a year of steady involvement, you should be concerned.

Does he/she calls you regularly to share the events of week and see how you are doing? This is an excellent sign that you are on your partner’s mind. Don’t always be the one to call. If you do, your partner will not be able to establish the good habits of calling you regularly.
